We offer a variety of specialist therapies:
Relationship
Whether you are married, in a civil partnership, living together or apart, are in an open or polyamorous relationship, are gay, lesbian, bisexual, heterosexual or transgender, we are here to help you with whatever relationship problems you may have. This extends to all types of relationships, including those between family members (for example, mother/son, father/daughter), friendships and colleagues.
DIT
DIT therapy (Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy) is a time-limited, structured psychotherapy, typically delivered over 16 weekly sessions. It aims to help you understand the connection between presenting symptoms and what is happening in your relationships by identifying a core repetitive pattern of relating that can be traced back to childhood.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an innovative approach to working with trauma. It is a specialist therapeutic approach, delivered by our highly trained and experienced therapists, designed to help take away the distress you may experience when remembering a traumatic event.
Forensic
We work with people who are at risk of behaving in a sexually harmful way in order to help them stop acting out, reduce the risk to society and therefore reduce the number of victims. This is using the COFRA (Compassion Focussed Risk Aware) 121 model of 16 sessions.
